Northern Utilities employees contribute to a food drive supporting the Cross Roads House, Inc. in Portsmouth, NH.

The company's corporate giving program strives to meet community needs within the cities and towns it serves. In an effort to "give back" to the very communities that determine its success, Northern Utilities targets corporate contributions to five key areas:

The company also encourages employee volunteerism. Employees have responded in a variety of different ways...including developing school/business partnerships, participating on not-for-profit boards of directors, and running fund-raising drives that respond to local needs.
