Payment Options for Northern Utilities
Customers
To avoid high winter heating bills, you can stretch out your heating costs
throughout the year and pay in equal monthly installments. Just sign up for our
Equalizer Budget Payment Plan. Simply pay the Equalizer amount that appears on
your gas bills during the month of July, instead of the total amount due, and
you're automatically enrolled. No phone calls or enrollment forms are required!
We will then estimate your annual gas costs and divide this total into equal
monthly bills. If you're interested in signing up at other times of the year,
please call 1-800-552-3043. Credit restrictions may apply.

Other Special Payment Arrangements

To arrange a personal payment plan, call 1-800-552-3044. Automated
payment arrangements can be made 24 hours a day. To speak to a representative
about a payment plan, please call between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm,
Monday - Friday, or 9:00 am and 2:00 pm on Saturday.
If you know someone who may be having difficulty paying their natural gas
heating bill this winter an Energy Gift Certificate is a perfect way to lend
some assistance. Your gift will be credited to the recipient’s gas bill and
they will receive an Energy Gift Certificate listing you as the gift giver.
Certificates can be purchased for any amount by mailing a check to:
